Where you start

Three ways to your own shop

The shop always runs on your website, on your domain. Only the starting point differs.

No website yet

Describe your business, the agent does the rest

In a short chat you say what you sell and to whom. The agent designs the website and the shop comes with it.

Paste your current website address

How it works

From order to first sale in four steps

The shop engine is ready-made and tested. AI doesn’t rewrite it for every customer. It builds the website the shop fits into and helps you set it up.

  1. You order

Paste your website address or describe your business. Look at the homepage proposal and choose a shop package.

The chat takes a few minutes

  2. AI builds the site with a shop

The agent designs and codes a website in your brand’s style. The shop picks up its colours, fonts and buttons, so it doesn’t look bolted on.

The full website usually 15–20 minutes after you order

  3. An AI assistant sets up the shop with you

It asks about your business details, payments, delivery and returns one at a time, saves the settings and tells you where to change them later. Gateway keys go into a form with instructions, never into the chat.

    The basics in one conversation

  4. You add products and start selling

The panel works like WooCommerce: quick edit, bulk actions, variants, photos, CSV import. Orders, shipping labels and customer emails are all in one place.

Payment gateway: as long as the provider’s verification takes

Webomat makes sense if

  • you sell a few, a few dozen or a few hundred products in Poland
  • you want your business website and shop in one place, in one style
  • you don’t want a monthly subscription just for the shop
  • you’d rather talk to an assistant than configure plugins
  • the shop is an add-on to your services or your first step into online sales

Choose something else if

  • you have thousands of products and a wholesaler or ERP integration
  • you sell wholesale with customer-specific price lists
  • you need marketplaces (Allegro, Amazon) synced with the shop
  • you sell mainly outside Poland, in euros, pounds or dollars
  • you need subscriptions, bookings or downloadable digital products

FAQ

Questions about the online shop

Does Webomat take a commission on sales?

No. Payments go to your own PayU, Przelewy24 or Tpay account, and the provider charges its own transaction fee under its price list. Bank transfers and cash on delivery have no gateway fee.

Is there a subscription for the shop?

No. You pay once for the package, with no monthly subscription like Shoper or Shopify charge. The first year of hosting and maintenance with SSL is included. After that, you only pay for hosting the website with its shop: $99 net a year. That also covers the shop database, its nightly backups and shop engine updates.

My website was built with Webomat. How much does adding a shop cost?

$129 net, always the same, whichever website package you have. Click “Add shop” in your project panel, and once you’ve paid, the assistant walks you through setup. Your website doesn’t change; shop pages, a cart and a menu link are added. From the next hosting period, hosting costs $99 net a year, as for every website with a shop.

My website runs on WordPress or Wix. Can I add a Webomat shop to it?

Not to a site built elsewhere. Webomat builds a new website based on your current one, with the shop included, as a shop package. It moves your content over and redirects old URLs to the new ones.

Can I use it if my business isn’t in Poland?

Only if you sell in Poland. Payments run through Polish gateways (PayU, Przelewy24, Tpay) in Polish złoty, shipping uses Polish carrier accounts, and the shop terms follow Polish and EU consumer law. If you sell mainly in the UK, the US or in euros, a platform like Shopify will serve you better.

What do I need to accept online payments?

A business account with a provider: PayU, Przelewy24 or Tpay. The provider verifies your company and signs an agreement with you; how long that takes depends on the provider. Until then you can sell by bank transfer or cash on delivery. The panel has step-by-step instructions for every provider: where to get the keys and where to paste them.

Do I get shop terms and a privacy policy?

Yes. The shop comes with terms filled in with your business details, a withdrawal form and online withdrawal function, and a privacy policy extended to cover the shop. You can edit them or paste your own. The seller is responsible for the content, so for unusual products check it with a lawyer.

How many products can I have?

The shop is built for small and mid-sized sales: from a handful to a few hundred products with variants. Thousands of products synced with a wholesaler or ERP is a project we quote individually.

Can customers shop with an account?

Yes. By default customers can buy as guests or create an account with order history and saved addresses. In the settings you can switch accounts off or make them required.

Who keeps the shop up to date?

We do. The shop engine runs on Webomat’s servers, so we roll out security fixes to every shop at once. You switch on new versions with new features by asking in the chat, without using up a revision round. There are no plugins to update and no conflicts between them.
