English version of a real Webomat project

KP Serwis (kpserwis.eu) is an auto repair shop in Warsaw. The agent redesigned its website; this is the new site translated into English. See the website live →

What to look for

What a good auto repair shop website needs

Someone looking at a repair shop website usually wants one thing: to call or to drive over. Your site should make that easy before they call the shop down the road instead.

Sample website of KP Serwis on a phone
  1. A tap-to-call number right at the top

Most customers visit on a phone, often from the roadside or a car park. A number in the header, written as text with a tel: link, dials with one tap and shows on every page.

  2. Opening hours where people can see them

“Can they still take my car today?” is the question people ask most. Your hours, including Saturdays and busy tyre-change season, belong on the homepage, not only on the Contact page.

  3. Address and directions

The full address as text, a link that opens navigation in Google Maps, and a short tip on finding you if the entrance is round the back or the shop sits on a side road.

  4. A specific list of services

Mechanical repairs, computer diagnostics, tyres and tyre storage, A/C service, wheel alignment, auto electrics. Each service named the way customers type it into Google, not a vague “complete automotive services”.

  5. Makes and vehicle types

Cars, vans, hybrids, EVs, LPG conversions: if you specialise or there are vehicles you don’t take, customers should know before they call. It saves time on both sides.

  6. Guide prices or “from” prices

Tyre change, oil change, A/C cleaning, diagnostics: even an approximate price filters out questions and builds trust. The agent won’t make prices up. It carries over the ones you have, or you add them in the chat.

  7. Real photos of your shop

Service bays, lifts, diagnostic equipment, the team. Customers spot stock photos of a smiling mechanic in spotless white overalls instantly. The agent uses the photos from your current website.

  8. Reviews: a link to Google

Customers check reviews on Google, not on your website. The honest option is a link to your profile with reviews. Webomat never invents reviews; customer quotes appear only if they are already on your current site.

  9. The same details as your Google Business Profile

Name, address and phone number (NAP) written exactly the same on your website and in your Google Business Profile. Mismatches, like an old number or a different street spelling, make it harder for Google to connect your site with your map listing.

  10. AutoRepair structured data

A description in schema.org format that visitors don’t see: the AutoRepair type (a kind of LocalBusiness), address, phone and opening hours. It helps search engines and AI chats understand what your business is and where it operates.

  11. Speed on mobile

The site has to open instantly, even with a weak signal out of town. The new website is static, with no plugins or heavy scripts, and the agent checks its weight before handing it over.

Common problems

What usually goes wrong on old repair shop websites

We see the same problems on repair shop websites again and again. Each one costs you calls from customers who picked another shop.

  • Old site

    No mobile version

On a phone you have to pinch to zoom, the menu doesn’t fit and the number is somewhere at the bottom. The new website is designed for phones and desktops from the start, and the agent checks it on a 390 px screen before delivery.

  • Old site

    Outdated prices and hours

Prices from years ago and opening hours that changed long since. On the new website you fix them in the chat: write “tyre change from $40, Saturdays until 1 pm” and the agent makes the change.

  • Old site

    Phone number as an image

An image can’t be tapped or copied, and Google can’t read it. On the new site the number is text with a tel: link. If today it only appears in a graphic, you give it to us in the short chat before the start.

  • Old site

    A gallery from 2012

A few small, dark photos in a gallery pop-up. The agent picks the usable photos from your current site and lays them out in the new design. You can add fresh photos of the shop as attachments in the chat.

What you get

What the agent builds for a repair shop

The agent builds the site from content you already have. A typical set for a repair shop looks like this; anything missing today, such as a price list or a gallery, you add in the chat.

  1. /

    Homepage

Phone and hours on the first screen, your main services, a photo of the shop, the address with directions.

  2. /services.html

    Services

A list of services with short descriptions, and separate pages for a bigger offer, for example computer diagnostics or A/C service.

  3. /tyres.html

    Tyres and storage

Tyre changes, wheel balancing, wheel storage and seasonal hours, if you have them.

  4. /prices.html

    Prices

Guide or “from” prices taken from your site, in a table that reads well on a phone.

  5. /about.html

    About the shop and gallery

Who you are, how long you’ve been in business, which vehicles you work on, photos of your bays and equipment.

  6. /contact.html

    Contact and directions

Address with a navigation link, phone, email, opening hours and a contact form whose messages go to your dashboard and your inbox.

On every page

  • Tap-to-call phone number
  • Mobile-friendly
  • Titles and descriptions for Google
  • schema.org structured data
  • Sitemap
  • 301 redirects

The $29 package covers up to 10 pages, the larger ones up to 25 or 50. Old URLs are redirected (301) to the new pages.

FAQ

Questions from repair shop owners

Will customers be able to book an appointment on the website?

Through the contact form, yes: the customer enters a phone number, the car and a description of the problem, and the message goes to your dashboard and your inbox. Webomat doesn’t build booking systems with a calendar of free slots. If you already use one, the site can link to it.

Can I change the prices or opening hours myself?

Yes, in the revision chat. Describe the change in plain language, the agent shows how it understood it, and once you approve, it makes the change. Every package includes revision rounds: 3, 5 or 10. The site has no CMS admin panel.

Will I lose the Google rankings my shop has today?

We carry over page titles and descriptions and redirect (301) every old URL to the closest new page. The new site gets a sitemap, structured data and a mobile version. Your Google Maps listing is not affected by the new website.

How long does it take?

The first homepage version is usually ready within 15–25 minutes, and the full website another 15–20 minutes after you order. You watch the progress live in your dashboard. You decide when the new site replaces the old one.

I don’t have a website, just a Google profile and a Facebook page. What then?

You describe your shop in a short chat: services, address, opening hours, phone. The agent builds the website from that. You can add photos of the shop later in the revision chat.

Will the website be on my own domain?

Yes. Every package includes a year of hosting with an SSL certificate for free; your dashboard has instructions for pointing your domain to the new site, and your email stays untouched. Each following year costs $29 net. You can also download the finished site as an HTML package and host it yourself.

Will the agent add customer reviews or certifications?

No. The agent works with the real content from your website: it can shorten and organise it, but it never invents reviews, certifications, numbers or prices. If you are an authorised dealer service or hold certifications, tell us and they will go on the site.

How much does a website for a repair shop cost?

Packages cost $29, $99 or $129 net, paid once. They differ in the number of homepage versions, revision rounds and pages. You see the first homepage version (one per account) for free, before you pay anything.
