AI website builders compared (2026): Wix, Framer, Hostinger, 10Web, Durable and Webomat

Illustration: six different tools lined up in a row, each producing a different browser window

AI website builders fall into two groups: those that build a site from a description of your business (Wix AI, Framer, Hostinger’s Website Builder, Durable) and those that can start from an existing website (10Web, Hostinger’s separate AI Builder, and Webomat). Most charge a monthly subscription and keep the site on their platform. Webomat is paid once (from $29 net) and gives you the HTML/CSS files, but it won’t build a CMS panel or a large store, only a simple store for smaller sales.

This article compares specific tools. If you’d first like to understand the types of AI website tools and what to ask before you buy, start with our guide to AI website builders.

A disclosure: Webomat is our product. That’s why, for competitors, we only state what we verified on their own pages, and where we couldn’t confirm something, we say so.

Wix AI (formerly Wix ADI)

Wix retired its old ADI builder in November 2024. Today a site starts with a conversation: you describe your business, the AI builds a site, and you refine it yourself in the editor or with the Aria assistant. It’s free to start, but connecting your own domain requires a paid plan (Wix calls its paid plans “Premium”; the cheapest is Light).

Strengths: a mature editor and a huge range of features (store, bookings, marketing). Things to watch: according to Wix’s help centre, a Wix site has to run on Wix’s servers and its files can’t be exported. The product page also doesn’t mention building from an existing website, so you move your content over yourself.

Framer

Framer is an editor for people who enjoy design. The AI generates a page layout from a description, and from there you work in a visual editor with a lot of freedom. Plans: free (on a Framer subdomain), Basic at $10 and Pro at $30 a month billed annually, per site.

Strengths: polished animation and typography, and a handy CMS for a blog. Things to watch: Framer’s help centre says it doesn’t offer HTML export, because published sites rely on its infrastructure. There is an approved third-party export plugin, paid for larger sites.

Hostinger Website Builder

Hostinger’s builder is the cheapest way into an AI-built site if you prepay for four years: $2.99 a month ($143.52 for 48 months) on the Premium plan, with a domain for the first year. After the promotional term, the plan renews at $10.99 a month. The AI creates a starting site from a description, writes copy and generates images.

Worth knowing: Hostinger also has a separate product, Hostinger AI Builder, with a Website Cloner that recreates an existing site from a URL as an editable project. It’s a different product from the classic builder, with its own pricing, so check which plan includes which feature before you buy. We didn’t find information about exporting code from the builder.

10Web

10Web builds sites on WordPress, and that’s its key difference. Plans include full WordPress with hosting, and according to the pricing page, its cloning agent “recreates any page from a URL”. Prices start at $10 a month, or $120 a year, per site (AI Starter), with higher tiers at $15 and $22.50 a month.

Strengths: you can start from an existing site, and you’re in the open WordPress ecosystem, so you can extend the result like any WordPress site. Things to watch: along with WordPress come its chores, such as plugin and theme updates. Our Webomat vs WordPress comparison covers this in detail.

Durable

Durable is more of a business builder than a website builder: alongside the site it offers a simple CRM, calendar sync and tools that, in the vendor’s words, help you get found, booked and paid. According to the vendor, a site is ready in 30 seconds from a short description. Plans: free (on a Durable subdomain), Launch at $22 and Grow at $41 a month billed annually ($25 and $49 billed monthly).

Strengths: a very fast start and business tools in one place, which suits a one-person service business starting from zero. Things to watch: we didn’t find a code export option. The site is built from a description, not from your current website.

Webomat

Webomat starts from your current website. You paste its address (or describe your business if you don’t have a site), and an AI agent reads your copy, photos and logo, then designs and codes a new version. The first version of your homepage is free, one per account, usually ready within 15–25 minutes. Once you buy a package, the full site usually takes another 15–20 minutes.

Packages (net): $29 (1 homepage version, 3 revision rounds, up to 10 pages, 5 AI images), $99 (3 versions, 5 rounds, up to 25 pages, 15 AI images), $129 (5 versions, 10 rounds, up to 50 pages, 25 AI images). Shop packages: $129 (1 version, 3 rounds, up to 10 pages) or $259 (3 versions, 5 rounds, up to 25 pages). Hosting with SSL is free for the first year, then $29 a year for a website and $99 a year for a website with a shop. You request changes in a chat; every change is a new version you can roll back. The agent sets up 301 redirects from old addresses, a sitemap, SEO and GEO, and checks the design at five screen widths. You publish on your own domain or download an HTML/CSS package.

Things to watch: the Webomat store is simple, for smaller sales (catalogue with variants, cart, discount codes), and its payment gateways and couriers are the ones used in Poland (PayU, Przelewy24, Tpay, InPost, DPD, DHL). For thousands of products or a wholesaler or ERP integration, Wix has far more features. Webomat also doesn’t build booking systems or CMS panels. There’s no drag-and-drop editor, and the number of revision rounds depends on the package.

Chat-based generators: v0, Lovable and similar

A separate category is tools where you describe an app or a site and a model writes the code: Vercel’s v0, Lovable and others. They have free plans, with paid plans from a few dozen dollars a month. They give you code you can keep working on, but they assume you know what to do with it: where to host it, how to connect a domain, how to maintain it. For developers they’re a big speed-up; for a business owner without technical help, usually less so.

How to choose: five criteria

1. Do you already have a website? If so, a tool that starts from your site (10Web, Hostinger’s Website Cloner, Webomat) saves you rewriting your content. If not, description-based builders (Wix, Framer, Durable, Hostinger’s builder) are the natural starting point.

2. Where does the content come from? AI writing copy from scratch can invent things your business doesn’t do. It’s safest when the tool works with your real content. Our article on why AI-generated websites look the same explains a related problem.

3. What will you pay over three years? A $30 monthly subscription comes to over $1,000 in three years. Multi-year promotional prices renew higher. A one-off fee plus cheap hosting is a different sum.

4. Can you take the site with you? Wix and Framer officially offer no export. A 10Web WordPress site moves like any WordPress site. Webomat gives you a package of files.

5. SEO during the move. If you’re replacing an old site, ask about 301 redirects from old addresses. Without them you can lose Google rankings. Details in our guide to redesigning without losing SEO.

Which one makes sense when

  • Wix AI: you want to edit the site yourself and need full-featured store or booking features.
  • Framer: you enjoy design and want a striking look and a blog in a CMS.
  • Hostinger: you want the lowest upfront price and don’t mind prepaying for several years.
  • 10Web: you want to stay on WordPress and start from an existing site.
  • Durable: you run a one-person service business, you’re starting from scratch and want a CRM included.
  • Webomat: you have a business website that looks its age, and you want to pay once and keep the files.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI website builder can rebuild my existing website?

Of the tools in this comparison: 10Web (a cloning agent that recreates a page from a URL), Hostinger AI Builder (Website Cloner, a separate product from the classic builder) and Webomat, which reads your copy, photos and logo and turns them into a new design.

Can I export the code from an AI website builder?

Not from Wix or Framer, officially (Framer has a third-party plugin). 10Web builds on WordPress, so the site moves like any WordPress site. Webomat gives you a downloadable HTML/CSS package.

How much does an AI-built website cost?

Subscriptions start at about $3 a month if you prepay several years (Hostinger) and around $10–25 a month elsewhere. Webomat costs $29–129 net once, plus $29 a year for hosting from the second year.

Do AI website builders write the content for me?

Most can generate copy from a description, but you should check every fact. Tools that start from your existing site, like Webomat, reuse your real content instead of inventing it.
